Bear Bag Toggle - Flat Version by Apex Giant

Never be left without a way to hang your food

Apex Giant's Bear Bag Toggle acts as a rod to secure your food when hanging using the PCT method. Toss your rope over a tall tree branch, attach your food bag, hoist it up the tree branch, and then reach for your Toggle. Using a simple clove hitch, you can secure the toggle to the rope. The rod will then catch on your food bag, leaving the bag hanging in the air out of reach of bears. This small Toggle then disappears in your pack the next morning until you pull it out for your next hang.

Which size is best?

If you use a micro carabiner, the small will likely work for you. For all other carabiners, choose the large.
