Simply Light Designs Adjustable Ridgeline

An adjustable structural ridgeline helps create a consistent hammock sag while allowing you to fine-tune the setup to your personal preference.

Each ridgeline is sized according to your hammock length, with an adjustment range centered around the commonly used 83% starting point. Once you find the setting you prefer, the ridgeline helps maintain that same sag each time you set up your hammock.

Choosing Your Size

Select the option that matches the length of your hammock. For example, select the 11' option for an 11' hammock.

The adjustment range will be sized appropriately for the selected hammock length, with the ability to try lengths on either side of the general 83% rule.

Setup Instructions

1. Attach the ridgeline between the hammock’s gathered ends using the suspension connection points.
2. Begin with a ridgeline length of approximately 83% of the hammock’s overall length.
3. To adjust, loosen the braided section, slide it to the desired length, and smooth the outer braid back over the buried section until it is fully extended.
4. Once adjusted, the ridgeline helps maintain a consistent hammock shape between setups.

Approximately 83% of hammock length is a common starting point for structural ridgeline length, but individual preferences vary. The adjustable design allows you to experiment with the amount of sag until you find the setting you prefer.
