Winter Haven Tarp
Description
The Winter Haven is a full-coverage 4-season hammock tarp designed for campers who need maximum protection from the elements. Its door-style design allows the ends to be closed to help block wind, rain, and blowing snow while creating a more protected shelter around your hammock.
Multiple fabric, tie-out, and pole configurations allow you to tailor the tarp to your preferred camping style and expected weather conditions.

Fabric Options
Standard Width Fabrics — Silnylon, Silpoly 1.1, and Xenon Sil 1.1 provide a finished width of approximately 112".
Wide Fabrics — Silpoly XL and Xenon Sil Wide provide a finished width of approximately 136".
Special Order Colors (Solid Colors Only) — Additional solid colors may be available by special order. Xenon Sil fabrics are sourced through Dutchware, while Silpoly fabrics are sourced through Ripstop by the Roll. Availability varies by supplier.
Tie-Out Options
Tie-outs can be configured with:
- Loops Only
- Line Loc 3 — Best with 2-2.5 mm line
- Line Lock V — Compatible with line as small as 1 mm
- Line Lock Lite 10 mm — Best with approximately 1.5 mm line
- Line Lock Lite 15 mm — Best with approximately 2-3 mm line
- 3/4" D-Rings
Optional Tarp Pole System
The optional tarp pole system increases the usable living space beneath the tarp by lifting the ridgeline area.
Choose from:
- Single Pole — Centered along the ridgeline
- Double Pole — Positioned at approximately 1/4 and 3/4 of the tarp length
- Triple Pole — Positioned at approximately 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 of the tarp length
The pole system includes sleeves sewn beneath the tarp for the pole ends, an internal ridgeline, and three prusik loops to help secure the poles. A stuff sack for the poles is also included.
Tarps with catenary curves and either a single or triple pole system include two curves along each side to accommodate the center tie-out location.
Optional Accessories
Reflective Guyline — 2 mm Orange Reflective Guyline is available in several lengths. This line is not compatible with Line Lock V or 10 mm Line Lock Lite hardware.
Ridgeline Cord — Choose your own cord or add 25' of 1.75 mm Zing-It.
Dutch Flyz — Available as hardware only or pre-spliced to 12' Zing-It lines.
Stakes — Add a set of eight Aluminum Y-Stakes or eight Ultralight Titanium Hook Stakes.
Internal Ridgeline — Includes attachment points, a 2.0 mm ridgeline, and three prusik loops for hanging lightweight items beneath the tarp.
Side Panel Pull-Outs — Additional pull-outs can be added to increase interior space. A specific spacing option is available for bridge hammock users.
Patch Kit — Includes a small tube of silicone caulk, matching fabric, and a stir stick for field repairs or future seam maintenance.
