Simply Light Designs UL UHMWPE Tree Hugger Webbing Straps
Description
Ultralight Tree Hugger Straps provide a significant weight savings over traditional polyester webbing while maintaining a full 1" width for wrapping around the tree.
Made from low-stretch UHMWPE webbing with a sewn eye at each end, they pair well with lightweight suspension systems such as Whoopie Slings and toggles.

Setup Instructions
- Wrap the strap around the tree, keeping the webbing flat.
- Secure the strap using an appropriate attachment method.
- Connect the hammock suspension using compatible hardware or a suitable hitch.
- Check all connections before loading the hammock.
Important: Do not use UHMWPE webbing with cinch buckles or other friction-based hardware, as the webbing may slip. Use secure connections that cannot slide along the strap, such as appropriately rated carabiners or a correctly tied Marlinspike hitch with a suitable toggle.
Notes
Its thin construction and tight weave are better suited to suspension systems designed for this type of webbing.
