Dual Skin Stuff Sack
Description
Dual Skins provide a simple way to keep your tarp contained while setting up or taking down your shelter. The two-piece design allows you to attach and position the tarp before exposing it to the wind, making setup easier in challenging conditions.
The two skins overlap near the center to provide complete coverage while remaining easy to slide toward each end when you're ready to deploy your tarp.
Features
- Two-piece tapered design
- Shock cord closures at the wide ends
- Available in multiple lengths and fabrics
- Standard and Wide versions available
- Optional guyline pockets
- Sold as a pair
Choosing Your Style
Standard — Tapers from approximately 4" at the wide end to 1.5" at the narrow end and works well with most lightweight backpacking tarp fabrics.
Wide — Provides additional room for bulkier tarp fabrics such as Xenon Wide and Silpoly XL.
Non-Tapered — Recommended for bulkier Dyneema (DCF) tarps.
Guyline Pockets
Optional pockets at the narrow ends provide a convenient place to tuck away guylines when the tarp is stored inside the skins.
Notes
The Asym length is designed specifically for the Simplicity Asym tarp.
