Description
Description

Rain pogies provide a simple yet versatile solution for hiking in brisk or wet weather. They do an excellent job of taking the bite out of a chilly breeze and keeping cold rain from sapping heat from your hands.

  • Lighter Option
Choose 15D Membrane Silpoly with a lighter shockcord and cinch, or our original 20D Silpoly.
  • Open Bottom
Great with trekking poles, and lets you quickly expose your hands to tie your shoes or snap a picture.
  • Layer Up
Pair with glove liners for colder weather and a wider range of use.
  • Optional Lining
Available with an Alpha Direct lining for extra warmth.

Pogies aren't meant to keep your hands perfectly dry through extended rain. Instead, they keep fresh rain off and create a warmer, drier microclimate inside.

Note: Some photos show snaps with pull tabs which have been omitted from the current design.

Made in the USA from imported fabric.

Packed size
Approximate size squished into a cylinder:

15D Membrane Silpoly: ~1" x 2" | ~2.5 x 5cm
20D Silpoly: ~1.5" x 2.5" | ~4 x 6.5cm
Alpha lined (either fabric): ~2" x 3" | ~5 x 7.5cm

These are rough comparisons. On the trail you'll likely stash them loose rather than packed this tightly.

Color examples

Note: The orange Alpha lined pogies use a blaze orange shell, but the black Alpha liner tones down the intensity of the orange.
